Hinds, Sidney R.
Sidney R. Hinds was a United States (U.S.) Army officer. He was a cadet at the U.S. Military Academy; 2nd lieutenant, 3rd and 35th U.S. Infantry Regiments; 1st lieutenant, 1st U.S. Tank Regiment and 11th U.S. Tank Company; ROTC (Reserve Officers Training Corps) instructor, Kamehameha Schools (Hawaii); captain, 7th and 11th U.S. Infantry Regiments; major, lieutenant colonel and colonel, 41st U.S. Armored Infantry Regiment; brigadier general, Combat Command B, 2nd Armored Division.
