Landscape architect.
Bryant Fleming received a B.S. from Cornell University in 1901. He formed Townsend & Fleming in Buffalo, New York (1905), and dissolved the partnership in 1915 when he established an independent practice in Wyoming, New York. He moved his office to Ithaca in 1927, where he continued his practice until retirement in the late 1930s. Fleming taught as a visiting professor at Cornell, and helped develope the Department of Landscape Architecture. He was also involved in campus planning at Cornell, and was an active member of the American Society of Landscape Architects' Committee on Education.
