Harris, Katherine Perkes, 1861-1957.
Mormon pioneer. Katherine Perkes was born in Illinois in 1861 to James Perkes and Mary Ann Gibson Perkes (both of whom joined the Mormon Church in England). Katherine Perkes' family traveled to Utah in 1862, and settled in Hyde Park, Utah. Katherine Perkes married William Emer Harris on Nov. 4, 1877. She died Sept. 7, 1957.
