Bush, Ryan
Bush served a two-year proselytizing mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. His sometimes unsuccessful experiences on his mission-especially when contrasted to the hyperbolic stories of missionary success usually shared within Latter-day Saint culture-prompted him to research the less glamorous and less successful side of missionary work.
