Richard Bennick served as an intern at Central College in Pella during his seminary training at Western Theological Seminary and received his degree in 1969. From 1977-1985 he was an assistant professor at Western Theological Seminary. Bennick was director of the Wolfert Enlistment Center which was organized to inform young people about the church related vocations open to them through an annual conference on Church Vocations.
