Alan Nunn taught master in theatre at Seneca College of Applied Arts and Technology. After retiring from Seneca, he moved to Peterborough, ON, and founded The Lakefield Readers Theatre. He earned his BA at Trent University. He directed many plays, taught Shakespeare through Class Connections, wrote M'Kenzies Cloak, an historical mystery for young people. He died November 3, 2004.
Alan Richard Nunn born March 3, 1920 in Birmingham, England. He was always interested in the theatre and after WWII pursued his interest through The Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in London. His work as an actor took him across England and North America performing with the Birmingham Repertory Theatre, British Arts Council, The Old Vic, Stratford Festival, Shaw Festival, National Arts Centre, The Red Barn Theatre, and the Crest Theatre. He served as house manager for The O'Keefe Centre (1963-1970) and administrator of The National Ballet School (1970-1972).
