1919 -1921 :Member of the Serbian military mission in Sofia, Bulgaria -
1921 -1923 :Attended the Ecole supérieure de guerre in Paris, France -
1924 -1927 :Served with a regiment in the Yugoslav Army, deployed to the general staff college in Belgrade, Yugoslavia -
1927 -1932 :General staff officer on various assignments with the Yugoslav army, including a detail as Aide de Camp to His Majesty King Alexander of Yugoslavia -
