Free Austrian Movement
Variant namesThe Free Austrian Movement was an organization of Austrians in exile founded by Hans Rott in Toronto in 1940 and based in New York as of 1942. Rott had been a minister in the Austrian government under Schuschnigg before the annexation of Austria by Germany; he signs as President of the Free Austrian Movement. Somer signs as Executive Director, and Friebeisz as Vice-President of the movement. (Freibeisz's first name is given under his signature as "Hans" but in the letterhead as "Hano.")
