Marple, Lucius, 1868-1963
Lucius Marple (1868-1963) entered Harvard as a member of the class of 1891. He left Harvard after his freshman year to build and operate street railways in Nashville and Montreal and edit a street railway journal in Chicago. He returned to Harvard and earned his AB 1899. After graduating from Harvard, Marple became a teacher and dealt in real estate.
