Variant namesThe Love Canal Area Revitalization Agency (LCARA) was a governmental agency created to organize the re-habitation of the Love Canal Area after the area had been determined habitable and the containment system had been installed. After the area was determined to be habitable, LCARA developed a Master Plan and Generic Environmental Impact Statement (GEIS) for the new planned community.
