Veteran, attorney. Born in 1891 in Craighead County, Arkansas, Young served in both World War I and World War II. Chief attorney for the Lubbock, Texas, Veterans Administration (1946-1961). Retired to a private law practice in Lubbock, Texas. Member of the Texas Bar Association and the Allen Brothers American Legion Post. Died in 1965.
