Wisner, George Y., 1841-1906
Detroit civil engineer.
Born in West Dresden, N.Y., July 11, 1841; worked his way through U. of M. Took part in triangulation survey, also of Illinois and Mississippi rivers; later entered lighthouse service. Was sanitary engineer of Detroit in 1890's. Wife, Carrie P.; sons, George M, and Ralph E. Died in Detroit, July, 1906. (Blue index cards) (From Burton SB 25:121)
