Lamar Tooze (1895-1971) was a well known Portland, Oregon, lawyer. He practiced law at the firm of Tooze, Kerr and Hill from 1928 until 1971. He served as the student body president of the University of Oregon, and later graduated from Harvard Law School. He served in the U.S. Army during World War I, and again in World War II, rising to the rank of major general commanding the 104th Infantry Division. He was married in 1919 to Marie Sheahan, daughter of William Sheahan.
