Brooke, Anna Farquhar, 1834-1917
Variant names
Anna Farquhar (1834-1917) was the daughter of Sarah Brooke Farquhar and Charles Farquhar. She was married to Dr. Charles H. Brooke, with whom she had two duaghters (Edith F. Brooke (1869-ca. 1954) and Mary B. Brooke (1875-ca. 1960)) and one son (Henry Brooke (1866-1884)); the Brookes may have had other children who died in infancy. Anna and Charles lived at Falling Green Farm, Olney, Md., and were active members of the Quaker community of Friends in Sandy Spring, Maryland.
