DeSaussure, Louis Daniel, 1824-1888.
Charleston, S.C. businessman. He entered into the mercantile business with the house of Tobias & Company and later went into business on his own as a broker and real estate agent. He also served as a director of the South Carolina Railroad and served on the boards of many public companies. He married Sarah E. DeSaussure.
