Photographs, letters, news clippings, and miscellaneous memorabilia pertaining to Pilkey's two-year stint during World War II as Club Director for American Red Cross Military Welfare service clubs on American bases in China. The letters were written to family members describing her experiences in foreign service. The scrapbook includes views of the clubs, army and Red Cross personnel, Chinese workers, and street scenes in China.
