Liebig, Gustav A. (Gustav Adolph), 1861-1897.
Biographical Note: Gustav A. Liebig was a physicist and teacher.
He was born in 1861 and later resided in Baltimore MD where he received private instruction. He entered The Johns Hopkins University in 1879 and received the B.A. in 1882 and the Ph. D. degree in Physics in 1885. He remained at Hopkins where he had been appointed to various instructional and research positions until 1891 when he joined the staff of the College of Physicians and Surgeons. Gustave A. Liebig died in 1897.
