Lang, Eleanor B.
The Jones County, Mississippi chapter of the Ku Klux Klan was an especially active and violent unit centered in Laurel, Mississippi, home of the Imperial Wizard Sam Bowers. During the 1960s this chapter was responsible for many atrocious acts committed against Civil Rights activists and African Americans.
