Boreman, Jacob Smith, 1831-1913.
Jacob S. Boreman (1831-1913) was appointed by President Grant to the Second District Court of Utah in 1873 and was the presiding judge in two successive trials of John Doyle Lee for his complicity in the Mountain Meadows Massacre of 1857.
