Professor emeritus Paul C. Young was born in 1892 in White, Texas, which is located northeast of Dallas. He attended North Texas Normal College, Nashville Bible School, University of Louisville, and Bowdoin College in Maine. He graduated Cum Laude in 1918 and began his career as a school teacher at Florida State College for Women (Florida State University). He served as an LSU psychology professor from 1925 to 1960. He died in 1991.
