Pine, W. B.
William B. Pine was elected as a Republican from Oklahoma to the U.S. Senate in 1925. He served on the Appropriations, Banking and Currency, and Indian Affairs Committees. After his 1930 defeat for re-election, Pine resumed his business interest in the oil industry. He was an unsuccessful candidate for the governorship of Oklahoma. He ran again for the U.S. Senate in 1942, but was defeated.
