Account book kept by brothers David (1773-1802) and Nathaniel (1770-1860) Stowell of Worcester, Massachusetts. They were the sons of Benjamin and Elizabeth Parker Stowell. Nathaniel married twice, first to Katy (or Caty) Bixby and then to Lucretia Willard. He had several children: Sophia, Leonard Worcester, Maria, Elmira, Eliza, Amelia, David Dudley, and Benjamin F. David was a cabinetmaker, specializing in chairs. Nathaniel was a farmer, a deacon in the Baptist Church, and a selectman.
