Philadelphia Yearly Meeting of Friends (Hicksite : 1827-1955). Western Quarterly Meeting of Friends. First Day School Union.
Western Quarterly Meeting was established in 1758 by Philadelphia Yearly Meeting out of a division of Chester Quarterly Meeting. Many of the monthly meetings in this quarter were transferred to Baltimore Yearly Meeting. In 1955, Western Quarterly Meeting (Orthodox) merged with Western Quarterly Meeting (Hicksite).
