Day, John, 1840-1926.
A native of Catlin, Parke County, Ind., Day served with the 31st Indiana Volunteer Regiment and the Veterans Reserve Corps during the Civil War. After the war he returned to Parke County, married in 1866, and three years later moved to Kansas where he spent the rest of his life.
