Karl Bretzfelder was a United States (U.S.) Army soldier who served in World War I (WWI). He was a 1st lieutenant with the Medical Officers Reserve Corps. Afterwards, he served with the Medical Corps and was assigned to Base Hospital No. 48. He was also with the Medical Detachment at the Alpine Leave Area in Chamonix and finally to Camp Hospital No. 76.
