Social worker

Born April 10, 1906. Graduated from Mount Holyoke College, 1928. Received M.S.W. from Pennsylvania School of Social Work, 1935, and became caseworker with the Family Society of Philadelphia, 1930-33. She was district secretary, Cuyahoga County Relief Administration, Cleveland OH, 1933-37, taught at Western Reserve Univ. School of Applied Sciences, 1934-36, and consulted with Family Service Association of America, 1937-40. She did post graduate study at Bryn Mawr Dept. of Social Economy and Social Research, followed by a permanent post at the Community Service Society of New York, where she held various directorships from 1942 to 1971. Following her retirement she co-authored Social Casework with Mary E. Woods. Reynolds died in 1980.
