Adrosko, Rita J.

Curator Emerita of the Textile Collection at the National Museum of American History in Washington, D.C., Adrosko served from 1963-1994 as Supervising Curator in the Division of Textiles. She also worked as Assistant Professor of Design at the University of Wisconsin in Madison and as an Instructor of Textiles and Design at Michigan State University. In 1971 and 1972, she did extensive research on Joseph-Marie Jacquard and the Jacquard loom, visiting libraries, archives and museums in Lyon, Paris, and London.
