Maria Hackett, English philanthropist and writer. She devoted her life to bettering the living and educational conditions of boy choristers. Hackett's Correspondence and Evidences Respecting the Ancient Collegiate School Attached to St Paul's Cathedral was printed by J. B. Nichols from 1811-1832.
