Borden Family.
William W. Borden was a farmer, geologist, and educator in New Providence, Clark County, Indiana. He was assistant to the Indiana State Geologist 1873-1876. He organized the Colorado mining firm of Borden, Tabor, & CO and established and directed the Borden Institute a college at New Providence.
