Variant namesRecruited from Crawford, Wyandot, Seneca, Huron and Erie Counties. Mustered into service on August 30, 1862. Fought in 28 battles, including Perryville, Murfreesboro, Chickamauga, and the siege of Atlanta. Removed from the south on June 12, 1865 and discharged at Cleveland.
