Reorganized in 1893 from Augusta, Gibson, and Sandersville Railroad Company; consolidated in 1894 with Sandersville and Tennille Railroad Company; leased to South Carolina and Georgia Railroad Company in 1897; and operated by Southern Railway Company after 1897; ran from Augusta to Tennille, Ga. (83 miles).
