Robert Owen, MA, OBE, (1885-1962), better known as Bob Owen Croesor of Llanfrothen in Merioneth, was a quarry worker at Croesor, an antiquary, book and manuscript collector, who lectured, broadcast and contributed to periodicals, journals and newspapers on various aspects of Welsh history and genealogy.

Roderick alias Rhydderch Lewis of Ysbyty Ifan, Denbighshire, north Wales, was a yeoman in the King's Chamber, who held properties in Ysbyty and Hiraethog etc. John ap Howel (apowel, Powell), alias Brierton (Brereton) held property at Wrexham, Yale, Maelor Gymraeg and at Long Stanton in Cambridgeshire and Elmsley Castle in Worcestershire.
