Abrahamson (b. July 31, 1924) served with the 8th Army Air Corps in England during World War II. Upon the end of the war, he had flown 17 missions.

Harvin Abrahamson (b.1924) flew with the 487th Bomb Group, 8th Air Force during World War II.

He was honorably discharged in 1945 as a Tech Sergeant. He is a past Post Commander for the Veterans of Foreign Wars, Post 10171, and a past chaplain for American Legion Post 23. He is currently the chaplain for the Wisconsin Chapter of the 8th Air Force Historical Society and resides in Grafton, Wisconsin.
