Freemasons. Nauvoo (Ill.). Nauvoo Lodge U.D.
Addison Pratt, Hyrum Smith, Lucius N. Scovil, Noah Rogers, and John A. Forgeus were members of the Masonic lodge in Nauvoo, Illinois in 1843. All five men belonged to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints; Hyrum Smith was a brother of the Mormon prophet Joseph Smith.
