Martin Joseph Morin (b. April 9, 1906, Pittsburg, Pa.-d. Feb. 18, 1993), U.S. Army officer, graduated from the U.S. Military Academy in 1927. As a battalion commander, 41st Infantry Regiment, 2nd Armored Division, he served in campaigns in North Africa, Sicily, and Europe. In 1945 he was assistant German specialist, Military Intelligence Service, then specialist and chief, Western European branch, War Department. After World War II, he served as chief, analysis branch, intelligence division, HQ, U.S. Army Europe. During the Korean War, in 1954 and 1955), General Morin was assistant division commander, 24th Infantry Division, then senior adviser, Korean Army Training Command.
