Mayhall, Mildred P.

Daughter of Judge David Pickle and Birdie Givens Pickle, Mayhall was a teacher, writer, wife of Temple Bland Mayhall, and mother.

She taught anthropology at the University of Texas at Austin and history at Austin High School. Mayhall wrote her dissertation and two books on Indians of Texas, collaborated on a seventh grade Texas history textbook, and contributed several articles to various publications.
