Jurix, Irene Bland.
Mrs. Jurix was the sister of James A. Bland (1854-1911), a native New Yorker and author of many songs including "Carry Me Back to Old Virginny" in 1875, "In the Evening By the Moonlight," and "Oh, Dem Golden Slippers."
