Wilson, Florabelle Williams,

A native and resident of Indianapolis, Ind., Florabelle Williams Wilson taught in the Indianapolis Public schools before taking a library science degree in 1961. She worked at the Indiana Central University Library (now University of Indianapolis) until her retirement; the last 11 years she served as library director. Wilson remains involved in community service for the library and African American communities, is a world traveller, and has won numerous professional and service awards.
