National Aborigines' Day Observance Committee (Australia)
Variant namesN.A.D.O.C. was formed in 1957 by the National Missionary Council of Australia in cooperation with the Commonwealth Government. The committee organises the annual observance of a National Aborigines Day on the second Friday in July and on Aborigines' Sunday on the following Sunday. The Federal Committee has representations of all Christian churches and independent missions, the Bible Society and interested bodies and State committees are similarly constituted.
