Schauffler, W. G.
Harding Field was a United States Army Air Corps base nine miles north of Baton Rouge, La., that operated between 1942 and 1945. It was converted to a public airport for civilian use in the Baton Rouge area in 1948. It was renamed Ryan Airport in 1954 and Baton Rouge Metropolitan Airport, Ryan Field in 1981.
