Benedetto, Angelo di.
Di Benedetto was born in Paterson, NJ in 1913. Graduate of Cooper Union Art School and later studied at Boston Museum of Fine Arts. Served in U.S. Air Force. Stationed at Buckley Air Field (Colo.) After discharge, moved to Central City (Colo.) His paintings and sculptures were exhibited throughout U.S. Opened the Denver Art Center to teach art. Served on Art for the Cities, the Colorado Council on the Arts and Humanities, and the Governor's Conference on the Arts and Humanities. Was also active in civic concerns. Died 1992.
