This and the other Hemyock deeds appear to refer largely to property which formed part of the two fourth parts of the inheritance of Joan, wife of John, Lord Zouche, and of that of Katherine, wife of Sir Thomas Arundell of Lanherne, two of the four sisters and co-heiresses of John, Lord Dinham.
