Johnson, Carl Garth, 1963-
Variant namesRiverwalk was composed by Carl Johnson, a Music Composition major who graduated from Syracuse Unviersity in 1990. Johnson was commissioned by Kappa Kappa Psi, the music and band fraternity, and Tau Beta Sigma, the music and band sorority, to compose a piece in memory of the SU students who died in the bombing of Pan Am Flight 103. The premiere of the piece was held on Wednesday November, 15, 1989 and was performed by the SU Wind Ensemble under the direction of Dr. Robert Spradling.
