Marchant, William Arthur, 1872-1920.
Born in Albany in 1872, son of George Marchant who settled in Albany from South Australia in 1866. The family returned to South Australia in 1873. William was back in W.A. by 1893 working in the Eastern Goldfields. He later returned to South Australia to settle.
