Rank, D. H. (David Herr), 1907-1981
Variant namesDavid H. Rank came to Pennsylvania State College as a graduate assistant in 1930, receiving M.S. and Ph.D. degrees before joining the faculty in 1935. He gained renown in the field of spectroscopy and optics, retiring in 1972.
