Claverack College (Claverack, N.Y.).
Co-educational school with origins dating to 1777.
It was first known as Washington Seminary; it was known as Claverack Academy, 1831, and changed its name to Claverack College and Hudson River Institute in 1854. In 1895 the name was changed to the Hudson River Institute. The school closed in 1902.
