Kaufman, Mary Louise Schuller Marconi, 1899-
Housewife, rancher, cannery operator of Oakdale (Calif.). Came to California as child (1907) where father, German immigrant, Frederick Schuller ranched at Talheim, a German farming colony later renamed Valley Home. Married stock rancher John Marconi and settled in Oakdale. Following his death (1932) she married Kenneth Kaufman, operator of Pacific Pea Company, Oakdale. Interviews discuss Mary Kaufman's childhood and adult years. Topics include ranching, cannery work and the Valley Home and Oakdale communities.
