Davis, Daniel H. B., b. 1836
Daniel H. B. Davis ("Dan") was born in New York in January 1836, and co-owned the Davis Brothers shipping firm with his brother, James B. Davis. Davis Brothers conducted business in Lima, Peru, where Daniel H. B. Davis lived for several years. In the United States, Davis and his wife Jeanette lived in Rye, New York, and they had at least three children: Percy, Henry, and Clara.
