Member of the Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR) and activist in Democratic Party politics; resident of Iowa Falls, Iowa. Margaret Dick, known as Mrs. O.K. Dick, participated in numerous DAR events and served as regent in the 1920s. She supported President Roosevelt's New Deal programs, serving as the area chairwoman for the National Recovery Act. She was a member of the Women's Democratic Club and helped found the Democratic Women's Study Club to.

She also held several positions in the Democratic Party at the county, district, and state level, campaigning in 1934 as the Democratic candidate for the state legislature from Hardin County. In these capacities she travelled throughout the state speaking to many organizations. Margaret Dick was also active in the Young Women's Foreign Missionary Society, the Methodist Church, the Order of the Eastern Star, and was a member of the State.

Historical Society of Iowa. Her husband served as postmaster in Iowa Falls and was also active in Hardin County Democratic politics.
