Dora Atkins Blackburn is a life-long resident of Indianapolis, Ind. Her father, Calvin R. Atkins, was a physician and her mother, Dora Graham Atkins, ran Atkins Flower Shop. Blackburn attended Butler University. Upon her mother's death she and her sister took over Atkins Flower Shop.
